This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage conflict searches and new business intake requests, aiming for 15–20 daily.

• Perform research and cross-check attorney, client, and matter details.

• Evaluate and report potential conflicts of interest, providing recommendations when necessary.

• Maintain precise and consistent documentation for new matters and client engagements.

• Conduct pre-employment conflict checks for attorney onboarding.

• Assist in resolving onboarding issues prior to start dates.

• Collaborate with HR and legal departments to ensure compliance with hiring requirements.

• Execute and review Westlaw Due Diligence reports.

• Monitor conflict waivers, engagement letters, outside counsel guidelines, and billing agreements.

• Address workflow requests and inquiries from attorneys and staff members.

• Keep accurate records and adhere to firm policies to support ethical compliance.

• Manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

• Support special projects and other assigned responsibilities.

• Adjust daily work schedules during peak workload periods to align with departmental and firm objectives.

• Utilize approved technology, including AI products and AI-enabled tools, effectively and in line with firm policies.


⛳️ Requirements

• A combination of legal experience and education that equips the candidate for roles in conflicts, compliance, or corporate research.

• 1–2 years of experience in a legal, compliance, or law firm setting.

• Knowledge of legal ethics, due diligence, and compliance principles.

• Familiarity with automated conflict-checking systems and corporate research tools.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail with the ability to analyze issues logically and independently.

• Excellent organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.

• Availability to work standard business hours in either the Mountain or Pacific time zones.

• Successful completion of a background check.

• Ability to learn and effectively utilize firm-approved technology, including AI products and AI-enabled tools.
