Windows Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, configure, and manage cloud or infrastructure components utilizing established architectural patterns

• Automate repetitive tasks related to provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operations

• Implement controls for security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability

• Investigate incidents, capacity challenges, vulnerabilities, and performance issues

• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and records of changes

• Collaborate effectively across engineering and operations teams

• Contribute to the delivery lifecycle by ensuring reliable and maintainable solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience as outlined in the job header

• Typically, a minimum of 4 years in a related professional position, as per the approved requisition

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, PowerShell, patching, and system security

• Professional background in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations pertinent to the role

• Practical knowledge of cloud services, operating systems, containerization, or automation technologies

• Familiarity with the fundamentals of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability

• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code

• Ability to methodically troubleshoot infrastructure and production-related issues

• Excellent documentation skills and ability to collaborate across teams
