This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and provide support for Windows Server environments, which includes their installation, configuration, patch management, and performance monitoring.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing management of CRU-X systems and their associated components.
• Administer Active Directory, which involves user and group management, Group Policy, and access control measures.
• Conduct system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting for Windows-based infrastructures.
• Aid in the integration of Windows environments with cloud platforms, such as Azure AD and hybrid identity solutions.
• Deliver systems administration support for VMware virtualization platforms.
• Provide support for enterprise systems across both on-premise and cloud environments, including Azure and AWS.
• Provision servers and services utilizing Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor resources across Azure and AWS cloud domains.
• Assist with Security Compliance/POAM activities.
• Generate reports and perform health checks using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Execute administrative tasks related to backup platforms.
• Support network hardware and software, including vulnerability management, service packs, and security bulletins.
• Maintain internal wikis and technical documentation; identify gaps and improve knowledge resources.
• Manage and resolve technical requests via formal ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with team members, vendors, and stakeholders to address issues and achieve operational objectives.
• Adhere to SOPs, change management protocols, and governance processes.
• Enhance processes, workflows, and service delivery.
• A Bachelor's degree in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT management, or another IT-related discipline; degrees in engineering, mathematics, or science are also acceptable alternatives.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Windows Server administration.
• Proficient in Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise Windows environments.
• Familiarity with hybrid identity (on-prem AD combined with Azure AD).
• Basic experience or certification in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or similar).
• Knowledge of enterprise ticketing systems and structured IT operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to document technical processes in a clear and effective manner.
• Proficient in PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
• Experience with VMware virtualization platforms.
• FAA Personnel Suitability clearance is required (AMS 3.14-2).
• Fully remote work location.
• 40-hour workweek, from Monday to Friday.
• Core working hours are from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM local time.
