Linux System Administrator – Infrastructure Monitoring

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Develop, supervise, maintain, automate, and support Hostinger's expanding global infrastructure.

• Oversee physical and virtual servers, data-center-level networking, and associated infrastructure.

• Respond promptly to infrastructure issues as they occur.

• Take ownership of incidents from start to finish, including response, resolution, communication, and preventive analysis.

• Establish and refine alerting using Prometheus and Alertmanager.

• Engage hands-on with Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform to automate and secure infrastructure.

• Coordinate with the Infrastructure Monitoring team based in Kaunas and Vilnius.

• Collaborate with data center technicians, systems and network engineers, and service-owning teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in Linux system administration managing both physical and virtual servers.

• Background in incident management, encompassing response, resolution, communication, and post-analysis.

• Proficient in troubleshooting data-center-level networking.

• Skilled with Prometheus and Alertmanager for metrics and alerting purposes.

• Exceptional written communication skills on intricate technical subjects.

• Ability to ask questions and provide and receive feedback in a constructive manner.

• Strong documentation practices.
