Windows System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee and sustain Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal availability, performance, and security.

• Administer and provide support for Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines, and Conditional Access Policies within enterprise environments.

• Manage Windows Server environments, encompassing Active Directory, Entra ID, and IIS administration.

• Develop and automate operational tasks utilizing PowerShell and Python scripting.

• Monitor applications, infrastructure, and services through Datadog and other enterprise monitoring platforms.

• Diagnose production incidents and conduct root cause analysis across both cloud and on-premise environments.

• Collaborate with global operations teams to uphold and enhance service reliability and operational excellence.

• Oversee web servers and support critical business applications across various environments.

• Participate in operational support rotations and offer coverage for infrastructure monitoring tasks.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Infrastructure Operations, Systems Administration, Cloud Operations, or related roles.

• Direct experience with Microsoft Azure, including Virtual Networks (VNets), Virtual Machines, and Conditional Access Policies.

• Solid understanding of Windows Server technologies, encompassing Active Directory, Entra ID, and IIS.

• Proficiency in developing automation scripts using PowerShell and/or Python.

• Familiarity with infrastructure and application monitoring tools, particularly Datadog.

• Experience in managing and troubleshooting web server environments.

• Advanced communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Experience working in rotational support settings and collaborating with globally distributed teams.

• Preferred: Experience supporting Java microservices environments, including WildFly application servers.
