This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, manage, and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure in both cloud and hybrid settings.
• Oversee and uphold servers, networking, storage, and SaaS platforms; track performance and uptime.
• Conduct patching, backup validation, health assessments, and tasks related to Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Entra ID groups, roles, service principals, Conditional Access, MFA, password resets, and identity lifecycle automation.
• Supervise Intune compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployments, Windows Autopilot, macOS enrollment, and mobile device management.
• Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, SaaS access policies, and Microsoft 365 licensing.
• Implement and manage AI solutions, including platform deployment, MCP server connections, and enterprise integrations.
• Oversee endpoint security tools, assist with vulnerability remediation, and gather audit evidence for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance.
• Address complex Tier 2/3 infrastructure escalations, and develop escalation playbooks and operational runbooks.
• Mentor Associate Systems Administrators and help in monitoring SLA/OLA performance.
• Engage in CAB processes, maintain the ITAM database, and assist in problem management investigations.
• Write PowerShell or Python scripts, automate onboarding/offboarding processes, and create Power Automate flows.
• Address infrastructure and service incidents, perform root cause analyses, prepare post-incident reports, and provide on-call support.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and documentation for IT assets/configuration.
• Execute quarterly IT operational plans and team OKRs while contributing to cross-functional initiatives.
• Report directly to the Director of Information Technology.
• Candidate must have authorization to work and reside in the United States; we do not currently sponsor immigration visas.
• A minimum of 4 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years in a systems administration position.
• Practical experience managing Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Linux, along with essential infrastructure components such as servers, networking, and storage.
• Experience in supporting cloud infrastructure tasks (VMs, storage, networking) within Azure and/or AWS, as well as administering SaaS platforms for performance and availability.
• Proficiency in administering Entra ID (Azure AD), including dynamic/assigned groups, roles, service principals, Conditional Access policies, MFA enrollment, and self-service password reset.
• Experience managing Microsoft Intune device compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployments, and Windows Autopilot/macOS enrollment workflows.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration, covering Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Knowledge of endpoint security tools (Microsoft Defender, EDR) and support for vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking, and compliance evidence collection (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Experience with ITIL-based ITSM practices, including involvement in Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes and IT asset management (ITAM) database upkeep.
• Scripting capabilities in PowerShell or Python for operational automation, as well as experience building low-code workflows (e.g., Power Automate) for service request processing.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while collaborating with managers on task prioritization.
• Consistently professional in verbal and written communication, capable of presenting complicated technical subjects in understandable terms to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to clearly articulate issues and propose effective solutions within the role.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and serve as a technical responder for infrastructure and service incidents.
• AWS certifications and Microsoft certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
• ITIL Foundation certification is a plus, but not required.
