Windows Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Windows infrastructure solutions.

• Implement and manage infrastructure across VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, and hybrid setups.

• Create automation solutions utilizing PowerShell and various scripting technologies.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on infrastructure initiatives and technical solutions.

• Prepare technical documentation, implementation strategies, and operational support resources.

• Diagnose complex issues related to infrastructure, operating systems, virtualization, and cloud services.

• Engage in project delivery tasks, including off-hours implementations as necessary.

• Handle multiple priorities within a collaborative team setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering.

• Proficient in Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure platforms.

• Current experience in supporting Windows, SQL, and cloud-based environments.

• Background in automation and script development, with a preference for PowerShell.

• Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle VM (OVM), Azure, and AWS.

• Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, OpenSSL, BIND, and Sendmail.

• Experience in designing and maintaining highly available and resilient infrastructure solutions.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.

• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
