This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Deliver technical support to customers via phone and onsite visits.
• Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, software upgrades, machine modifications, retrofits, and preventative maintenance on production print equipment.
• Execute equipment installations, deinstallations, relocations, and provide customer operator training.
• Follow up with customers post-installation to confirm their expectations have been fulfilled and the equipment is functioning correctly.
• Oversee and coordinate forthcoming installations, ensuring site readiness requirements such as power availability, forklift scheduling, and RIP software compatibility are confirmed.
• Complete service calls in accordance with company standards and service agreements.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to equipment and offer guidance on color management and production workflows.
• Cultivate a working knowledge of Onyx software and RIP systems to support customer print production settings.
• Comprehend how RIP software governs print production and aid customers with general operational queries.
• Engage in continuous training programs.
• Support sales teams by recognizing equipment upgrade opportunities and contributing to technical evaluations.
• Maintain precise service records and documentation.
• Thrive in a dynamic, customer-centric environment.
• A minimum of 2–6 years of relevant field service experience.
• Experience in servicing and repairing wide format equipment and associated technology.
• Experience with Canon wide format print equipment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Onyx software and production RIP workflows is preferred.
• Strong understanding of computer systems and networking.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Robust mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Solid working knowledge of Windows operating systems and related applications.
• Capability to work independently from a home office setting.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, primarily within the Central and Eastern United States.
• Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
