📋 Description

• Design, implement, oversee, and evaluate comprehensive multi-touch, multi-channel communication strategies for Empower's most prestigious and intricate clients.

• Integrate financial services knowledge, strategic communication skills, product expertise, and client management to enhance retirement readiness.

• Maintain client satisfaction while ensuring profitability within the full-service team.

• Provide precise and timely communications regarding plan activities and strategic action-oriented campaigns aimed at influencing participant behavior.

• Enhance financial literacy and participant wellness through innovative tools and the development of new resources.

• Analyze and suggest communication design and delivery strategies for a complex portfolio of business.

• Manage participant communication budgets, deliverables, quality assurance, timelines, metrics, and planning.

• Participate in and present ideas and campaign updates during client meetings, webcasts, and phone discussions.

• Clarify complex topics and foster consensus among client stakeholders.

• Anticipate regulatory communication needs and ensure compliance for plan sponsors.

• Collaborate with the Retirement Education Team for employee meetings and presentations/webcasts.

• Complete marketing creative briefs for various initiatives and tactics.

• Implement client initiatives while adhering to assigned budgets.

• Coordinate workflows to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

• Serve as a thought leader within the team and mentor junior team members.

• Manage strategic client relationships and travel up to 30% of the time.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, journalism, communications, finance, or a related field.

• Master's degree is preferred.

• Typically, at least seven years of experience in the retirement industry.

• Familiarity with defined contribution, defined benefit, non-qualified plans, and financial services regulatory compliance.

• Generally, a minimum of seven years of experience in retirement communications.

• Experience with both mandatory and optional communication deliverables.

• Knowledge of variable data, personalization, and multi-channel communication delivery.

• Strong project management capabilities.

• Typically, at least seven years of client management experience in corporate benefits, communications, or marketing.

• Experience with advisor/intermediary relationships and an understanding of their roles.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and various workflow tools.

• Ability to quickly learn new systems and software.

• Proven skills in technical and persuasive writing.

• Familiarity with style guides.

• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

• Capacity to foresee and address potential objections.

• Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and seasonal workload fluctuations.

• Understanding and adherence to communication budgets and expense considerations.

• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT.
