This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Deliver technical support to customers both via phone and on-site.
• Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, software upgrades, machine modifications, retrofits, and preventative maintenance on production printing equipment.
• Execute equipment installations, deinstallations, relocations, and provide training for customer operators.
• Follow up post-installation with customers to ensure their expectations are met and that the equipment is functioning correctly.
• Manage and coordinate upcoming installations, ensuring site readiness requirements such as power availability, forklift scheduling, and RIP software compatibility are confirmed.
• Carry out service calls in accordance with company standards and service agreements.
• Assist customers with questions regarding their equipment and offer guidance on color management and production workflows.
• Acquire a working knowledge of Onyx software and RIP systems to support customer print production environments.
• Engage in ongoing training programs to stay up-to-date on products, software, and service procedures.
• Support sales teams by identifying opportunities for equipment upgrades and assisting with technical evaluations.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Effectively operate in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• A minimum of 2–6 years of relevant field service experience.
• Experience in servicing and repairing wide format equipment and associated technologies.
• Preference for candidates with experience in Canon wide format printing equipment.
• Preferred knowledge of Onyx software and production RIP workflows.
• Strong understanding of computer systems and networking.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems and related applications.
• Highly motivated and capable of working independently from a home office environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, primarily within the Central and Eastern United States.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
