This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Oversee designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Foster customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance both short- and long-term sales performance.

• Achieve sales goals, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing targets.

• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments.

• Address objections and secure calls to action during sales interactions.

• Attend to customer needs and cultivate trusted relationships.

• Create and execute call plans to optimize customer engagement, frequency, access, and sales prospects.

• Gain insights into customer needs, market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, products, clinical data, and sales proficiency.

• Share market intelligence with field representatives, brand, and sales teams.

• Highlight AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.

• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.

• Travel approximately 25% of the time.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field preferred, or equivalent industry experience required.

• A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience in place of a bachelor’s degree, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred.

• A high school diploma/GED is necessary when substituting experience for a bachelor’s degree.

• Demonstrated history of leadership success.

• Excellent presentation abilities.

• Strong business insight.

• Competency in utilizing business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and adapt sales techniques accordingly.

• Proficient in operating within a matrix environment.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical commercial industry is preferred, including account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.

• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing, is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.

• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing, or be eligible to obtain credentials.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Must fulfill safe driving requirements.
