Senior Clinical Application Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Perform pre- and post-implementation evaluations of workflows in radiology departments.

• Recognize operational issues, diagnostic delays, and possibilities for enhancing clinical and operational efficiency.

• Create and document clinical workflow strategies that facilitate the adoption and optimization of PACS, RIS, and clinical reporting solutions.

• Serve as a clinical subject matter expert during client engagements.

• Assist radiologists, clinicians, department heads, and clinical administrators in navigating change management.

• Conduct clinical training sessions for radiologists, technologists, and clinical administrators.

• Collaborate with implementation and technical teams to ensure product configurations align with facility workflows, protocols, and user preferences.

• Act as the main clinical workflow resource for intricate implementations from initiation through go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation support.

• Keep workflow assessments, future-state workflow designs, and training plans updated in project or ticketing systems.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical workflow practices, support processes, and the knowledge base within Service and Delivery.

• Provide support to key customers with updates and guidance to maintain adoption rates and positive clinical relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nursing, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience with a clinical or radiology background (required).

• Over 5 years of experience in radiology and diagnostic imaging settings, including clinical consulting, workflow optimization, and customer-facing support for healthcare technology or medical imaging solutions (required).

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and completion of an accredited radiologic sciences program (required).

• Comprehensive clinical and technical knowledge of radiology workflows, PACS, RIS, DICOM standards, and clinical reporting platforms (required).

• Proven experience in implementing medical imaging software or clinical decision-support systems (required).

• Established ability to engage senior healthcare leaders in discussions regarding clinical workflow assessment, optimization, and adoption results (required).

• Demonstrated experience in leading clinical teams through software transitions and workflow redesign (required).

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate software capabilities into clinical language for radiologists and operational leaders (required).

• Experience in managing change activities such as stakeholder engagement, workflow adoption, training, and communication planning (required).

• Familiarity with supporting complex, enterprise-level healthcare sales cycles, clinical demonstrations, or pre-sales workflow discovery (preferred).

• Must adhere to applicable laws, DeepHealth policies, data privacy, compliance, safety, and confidentiality standards.

• Must be available for regularly scheduled work and maintain satisfactory attendance.
