
Wholesale Footwear Manager – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Develop and implement the EMEA wholesale footwear strategy that aligns with global objectives and regional opportunities.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with outdoor specialty retailers, mountain shops, trail running specialists, premium sporting goods retailers, and selected omnichannel partners.
• Lead and nurture regional sales representatives, Key Account Managers, Area Sales Managers, Technical Representatives, and agencies.
• Oversee commercial planning across markets and strategic accounts, including annual agreements, Joint Business Plans, seasonal pre-orders, in-season replenishment, and sell-through performance.
• Collaborate with various functions and international markets to optimize assortments, forecasting, inventory productivity, merchandising standards, and collection strategies.
• Achieve sustainable double-digit growth across key EMEA markets while safeguarding premium distribution and brand equity.
• Strengthen relationships with retailers and distribution partners.
• Enhance footwear sell-through through strategic assortment planning, retail activation, technical education, and premium merchandising.
• Improve accuracy in forecasting, inventory productivity, and commercial visibility.
• Create multi-year business plans by region, country, and strategic account.
• Elevate ARC’TERYX footwear visibility through retail initiatives, athlete engagement, product testing, field clinics, and consumer experiences.
• Foster a high-performance regional sales culture centered on consultative selling, collaboration, coaching, and partnerships.
• Uphold distribution and channel discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of international sales experience, preferably within premium outdoor, technical footwear, or a related premium sporting goods sector.
• Proven ability to manage wholesale business across multiple EMEA markets.
• Strong connections within the European outdoor footwear and specialty retail community.
• Experience in negotiating complex international commercial agreements and fostering long-term strategic customer partnerships.
• Demonstrated success in delivering profitable growth while maintaining premium brand positioning and disciplined distribution.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
• Experienced leader and coach in people management.
• Comfortable working across diverse countries, cultures, and markets.
• Proficient in using Salesforce, SAP, Power BI, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, CRM platforms, and/or retail analytics tools.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German is highly desirable; proficiency in French, Italian, or Spanish is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally approximately 50–70% throughout EMEA, with a focus on Europe.
• Commitment to approximately four annual trips to Vancouver for key company events.
