Wet Chemist, Wet Chem Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Conduct wet chemical analysis of samples with precision and efficiency, adhering to established testing methods and laboratory protocols.

• Utilize laboratory instruments such as AAS, ICP, UV, LECO, and XRF.

• Perform routine checks on equipment and inform the supervisor of any instrument malfunctions or maintenance needs.

• Adhere to quality control measures, maintain precise laboratory records, and report any non-conformities.

• Accurately prepare, manage, and label laboratory solutions and standards.

• Ensure laboratory cleanliness, proper use of PPE, and compliance with safety, hygiene, and QHSE standards.

• Monitor laboratory inventory and communicate any shortages or operational challenges to the supervisor.

• Assist in daily laboratory operations to guarantee timely, reliable, and accurate test results.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory setting.

• Practical experience in wet chemical analysis is essential.

• Hands-on experience with AAS and ICP is highly prioritized.

• Familiarity with UV, LECO, and XRF is considered an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control, and safety protocols.

• Effective communication skills are necessary.

• A qualification in Chemistry or a related field is preferred.
