Home Care Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Deliver home assistance services to clients in aged care.

• Carry out general housekeeping duties and make beds.

• Clean, mop, and vacuum floors.

• Wash, fold, and iron laundry.

• Prepare meals and handle grocery shopping.

• Assist clients in getting out of bed, showering, and dressing.

• Help clients with medication management.

• Support clients with mobility and therapy objectives.

• Provide specialized care for clients with high care needs, including those with dementia.

• Offer social and emotional support.

• Transport clients to recreational activities or appointments.

• Assist family caregivers in taking breaks or engaging in other activities.

• Work autonomously while seeking managerial support when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months’ experience in a comparable role.

• Proficiency in personal care, manual handling, hoist operation, and medication administration.

• Valid Australian Driver's License.

• Possess an insured, roadworthy vehicle.

• Completion of a Statutory Declaration is required prior to starting.

• A National Police check must be completed before commencement.

• A Working Rights check is mandatory before starting.

• A pre-employment functional assessment must be completed prior to beginning work.
