Wellness Nurse, LPN – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents with a focus on holistic wellness.

• Assist in overseeing daily nursing operations carried out by Certified Nursing Assistants.

• Ensure the health, safety, and overall well-being of all residents is monitored effectively.

• Aid in the training and oversight of medication administration.

• Manage care staff in alignment with current state regulations and community policies.

• Uphold clinical quality assurance in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.

• Foster the highest level of service to residents while exemplifying the company mission.

• Perform thorough assessments of residents.

• Report directly to the community’s Health and Wellness Director (RN).

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, holding a current LPN license.

• Preferably possess at least 2 years of experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or hospital settings.

• Experience in working with residents diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or other related dementias is desirable.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Familiarity with federal and state regulations, as well as nursing practices, techniques, and methods relevant to health and wellness for residents.

• Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new software applications.

• Capability to stand, walk, sit, use both fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.

• Ability to lift or carry weights of up to 50 lbs.

• Competence in performing intermittent lifting and support of residents using appropriate body mechanics.
