Wellness Nurse, LPN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver direct nursing care to residents, focusing on a holistic approach to wellness.

• Oversee daily nursing operations conducted by Certified Nursing Assistants.

• Assess and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all residents.

• Aid in the training and supervision of medication administration.

• Manage care staff in compliance with current state regulations and community policies.

• Uphold clinical quality assurance in alignment with federal, state, and local standards.

• Foster the highest level of service to residents while embodying the company mission.

• Perform comprehensive resident assessments.

• Report to the community's Health and Wellness Director (RN).

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Valid LPN license.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or hospital settings preferred.

• Experience with residents suffering from Alzheimer’s or other related dementias.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Familiarity with federal and state regulations, along with nursing practices, techniques, and methods relevant to resident health and wellness.

• Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with a willingness to learn new software applications.

• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.

• Capacity to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.

• Skill in lifting and supporting residents using appropriate body mechanics.
