Website Content Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily management of marketing-driven website content within the CMS.

• Create, publish, and sustain landing pages, informational pages, and campaign-related content.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in content governance, page structure, and publishing best practices.

• Ensure content is accurate, current, accessible, and consistent with brand standards.

• Perform regular audits of content to identify outdated, duplicated, or underperforming materials.

• Collaborate with the B2B content specialist to address both B2B and B2C audiences.

• Enhance navigation, page structure, and customer journeys.

• Write, edit, and optimize website copy for clarity, engagement, and conversion rates.

• Develop landing pages and campaign experiences that support acquisition, activation, and fundraising objectives.

• Implement UX writing and information architecture principles to enhance website experiences.

• Work in partnership with Search, Social, CRM, and Design teams to optimize website performance.

• Foster acquisition growth through paid media, SEO, and GEO content initiatives.

• Utilize testing, analytics, user research, and behavioral insights to enhance content performance.

• Report directly to the Head of CRM & Digital.

• Cultivate partnerships across Marketing, Product, Design, and agency teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing website content through a CMS, preferably WordPress or similar platforms.

• Strong grasp of content governance, publishing workflows, and website content operations.

• Exceptional copywriting, editing, and proofreading abilities.

• Experience in creating landing pages and conversion-oriented website content.

• Solid understanding of information architecture and best practices in digital content.

• Experience leveraging analytics and customer insights to enhance content effectiveness.

• Basic knowledge of SEO, GEO, and CRO principles.

• Ability to distill complex information into clear, engaging content for customers.

• Strong project management skills, with a keen eye for organization and detail.

• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.

• Desirable: experience in online fundraising, charities, non-profit organizations, or mission-driven businesses.

• Desirable: knowledge of accessibility standards and principles of inclusive design.

• Desirable: experience collaborating with CRM, acquisition, or lifecycle marketing teams.

• Desirable: experience utilizing AI tools responsibly to enhance content workflows and optimization.
