Website Analytics Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct audits and maintain setups for GA4 and Google Tag Manager across Vulcury and its portfolio websites.

• Resolve any broken or missing events, conversions, and UTM conventions.

• Create and manage dashboards in Looker Studio or similar platforms.

• Monitor essential funnels such as contact forms, demo requests, career pages, and newsletter signups.

• Identify points where users drop off in the funnel.

• Utilize Google Search Console and heatmap/session tools like Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar to identify page-level issues.

• Generate a weekly performance report detailing what has changed, the reasons behind it, and the recommended next steps.

• Collaborate with content, social, and growth teams to establish tracking for new pages and campaigns.

• Assess the effectiveness of new pages and campaigns.

• Deliver analytics insights and recommendations directly to leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Final-year student or recent graduate (within approximately 12 months) in marketing, computer science, statistics, or economics is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Practical experience with GA4 on an active, live website.

• Proficient in Google Tag Manager, including the creation of tags, triggers, and variables.

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, including pivot tables and lookups.

• Basic knowledge of SQL or Python is advantageous.

• Ability to explain a chart to a non-technical founder in clear, understandable terms.

• Self-motivated and dependable in a remote, asynchronous work environment.

• Experience with Looker Studio dashboards is a plus.

• Familiarity with Zoho tools (Zoho Analytics, PageSense, or CRM) is a desirable bonus.

• Background in A/B testing or conversion rate optimization (CRO) is a nice addition.

• Submission of a resume along with one example of previous analytics work is required for application.
