Web Developer – WordPress, PHP & Hosting | Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance websites and online stores, with a focus on WordPress platforms.

• Execute website projects and implement technical updates, such as website migrations and hosting configurations.

• Establish and oversee domains, email accounts, and SSL certificates.

• Connect and integrate external systems and APIs.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues while optimizing existing websites.

• Engage directly with clients, from gathering requirements to implementation and project completion.

• Offer support in areas related to IT services and internal software development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience (at least 2–3 years) in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.

• Strong proficiency in PHP along with solid skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience in customizing and developing WordPress themes and plugins.

• Familiarity with MySQL databases, hosting environments, domains, and web servers.

• Ideally, experience with website migrations, e-commerce sites, and setting up email accounts.

• Understanding of website performance optimization, security measures, and maintenance practices.

• A self-directed, organized, and solution-focused working style.

• Enjoyment in direct client interaction and independently managing projects to completion.

• A team-oriented mindset, with proficiency in German and English.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
