Web Developer – WordPress, PHP, and Hosting (Part-Time)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance websites and online stores, with a focus on WordPress-based solutions.

• Execute website projects and implement technical modifications, including migrations and hosting configurations.

• Establish and manage domains, email accounts, and SSL certifications.

• Connect and integrate various third-party systems and interfaces.

• Diagnose and solve technical problems while optimizing existing websites.

• Independently communicate with clients throughout the process, from gathering requirements to project implementation and completion.

• Offer support in related IT service areas and in-house software development tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.

• Strong proficiency in PHP, along with solid skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience in customizing and developing WordPress themes and plugins.

• Knowledge of MySQL databases, hosting environments, domains, and web servers.

• Ideally, experience with website migrations, e-commerce platforms, and setting up email accounts.

• Understanding of website performance optimization, security measures, and maintenance practices.

• An independent, structured, and solution-focused work approach.

• Enjoyment in direct client interactions and independently managing projects from inception to completion.

• A collaborative team player with strong German and English communication skills.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus.
