Senior React Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Serve as the lead React engineering expert within a collaborative platform team.

• Take ownership of front-end solution components from initial design to implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.

• Offer guidance on architectural decisions, code quality, reusable patterns, and integration with Microsoft cloud services.

• Design and develop responsive React applications and reusable component libraries using TypeScript.

• Utilize modern React practices, including functional components, hooks, state management, and modular architecture.

• Connect front ends with REST APIs and Microsoft services, implementing secure authentication and authorization methods.

• Create automated unit, component, and end-to-end tests while supporting quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.

• Enhance applications for accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, performance, observability, and maintainability.

• Perform code reviews, pinpoint technical debt, and guide sustainable remediation efforts.

• Collaborate effectively with UX designers, architects, backend developers, and business stakeholders.

• Develop concise technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal developers.

• Deliver production-ready React features and reusable components that align with established acceptance criteria.

• Establish front-end architectural choices, coding standards, and integration documentation.

• Generate automated test evidence, peer-review outcomes, and deployment instructions.

• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and offer actionable recommendations for addressing technical debt.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, with significant recent work in React and TypeScript.

• Proven track record of ownership over production React applications and scalable front-end architectures.

• In-depth knowledge of component design, state management, API integration, and asynchronous programming.

• Practical experience with automated testing frameworks and front-end build tools.

• Familiarity with Git, pull requests, code reviews, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong understanding of accessibility, responsive design, performance, and secure web development practices.

• Proficient in professional English with the ability to clearly articulate technical decisions.

• Preferred: Experience integrating React components with Dataverse, Dynamics 365, or Power Platform, such as PCF controls.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, or API Management.

• Preferred: Experience with design systems, UI libraries, and application telemetry.

• Preferred: Background in structured software testing.
