Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve screens and workflows for web applications.

• Convert product and design requirements into functional user interfaces.

• Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance interfaces based on design prototypes.

• Create and update reusable components that align with the design system.

• Integrate screens with backend services, managing loading, error, empty, and permission states.

• Engage in story refinement sessions with product and design teams to identify feasibility issues, costs, and UX alternatives.

• Take responsibility for end-to-end tasks of low to medium complexity with a degree of autonomy.

• Validate workflows prior to release, prevent regressions, and ensure a positive user experience.

• Assist the senior developer in prioritizing tasks within the squad.

• Monitor screen functionality in production and aid in investigating user-reported issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Professional experience with React and Next.js, including the building and maintenance of applications.

• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript, encompassing typing, componentization, and code organization.

• Experience in creating interfaces using Tailwind CSS.

• Familiarity with working within a design system or component library.

• Capable of enhancing and proposing components while adhering to existing standards.

• Experience with scalable component architecture.

• Proficient in consuming REST APIs, including managing response states, errors, and authentication.

• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and best practices for responsive design.

• Familiar with Git in a collaborative setting, including branches, pull requests, and code reviews.

• Knowledgeable about frontend performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.

• Experience in agile working environments.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with multidisciplinary teams.

• Proactive in identifying technical and product improvements.

• Responsible use of AI tools while maintaining accountability for the code produced.
