This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and manage custom WordPress websites utilizing PHP alongside the agency’s established theme library.

• Create websites and landing pages employing Tailwind CSS.

• Collaborate with Sass, Gulp, Twig, and Foundation for older website projects.

• Develop and sustain HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript code.

• Implement WordPress features using ACF Pro and Gravity Forms.

• Guarantee cross-browser and device compatibility.

• Diagnose bugs and technical issues on client websites.

• Address support tickets and carry out requested modifications.

• Install and set up third-party integrations and website widgets.

• Maintain and refresh WordPress websites.

• Apply technical SEO components including schema markup, FAQs, metadata, and redirects.

• Enhance website speed and performance.

• Configure Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.

• Code HTML emails and create templates for Mailchimp, Zenoti, Phorest, and SalonBiz.

• Convert Figma designs and wireframes into operational WordPress websites.

• Evaluate designs, create sitemaps, and offer build estimates.

• Work closely with project managers and clients to address technical requirements.

• Participate in creative and project meetings.

• Provide WordPress CMS training for clients.

• Utilize AI coding tools to speed up development, resolve issues, and automate repetitive tasks.

• Oversee multiple projects and deadlines with ClickUp.

• Operate independently alongside project managers, clients, and internal team members.

• Complete the application form and submit a skills-focused video.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional experience in web development.

• Proven experience in developing custom WordPress themes using PHP.

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Sass, Gulp, Twig, and Foundation.

• Experience working with ACF Pro and Gravity Forms.

• Knowledge in implementing technical SEO elements and setting up website analytics.

• Experience in coding HTML emails for marketing platforms.

• Proficient in integrating third-party tools and widgets into websites.

• Ability to translate Figma design comps and wireframes into functional websites.

• Practical experience with AI coding tools to enhance development, troubleshooting, and workflow efficiency.

• Strong PHP skills for custom WordPress theme development.

• Ability to utilize an existing custom theme library instead of off-the-shelf templates.

• Capable of configuring GA4 and Google Tag Manager.

• Familiar with Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar AI coding tools.

• Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines using ClickUp.

• Capable of providing accurate development estimates and conveying technical concepts to project managers and clients.

• Availability required Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM CST.

• Preferred: experience in an agency setting, strong visual design judgment, and familiarity with building AI-powered WordPress integrations, automations, or functionalities.
