Web Developer – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop internal tools comprehensively, encompassing front end development, logic implementation, and data management.

• Leverage Gemini and comparable AI tools to rapidly prototype and deploy solutions while ensuring high quality standards.

• Integrate tools with Google, Firebase, and Contour's proprietary systems.

• Uphold robust architecture, prevent the exposure of API keys and sensitive information, and document processes for team collaboration.

• Gain insights into internal workflows and create tools that effectively address genuine challenges.

• Deliver at least one internal tool that is utilized daily by the end of the third month.

• Report directly to the VP of Global Enablement and Support.

• Differentiate internal tools from the core product, LMS, and student-facing initiatives managed by the engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in deploying functional software or tools in a professional environment; the number of years is not a determining factor.

• Capability to construct a small application from start to finish, such as a React app with a Firebase backend.

• Proficient in JavaScript and Google Apps Script.

• Comfortable utilizing AI for coding, with a solid intuition for secure and maintainable development.

• Strong understanding of real-world products and business dynamics.

• Ability to collaborate across different time zones, including availability during Australian hours.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with React, Firebase, or Gemini and similar LLM APIs.

• Preferred: familiarity with Make.com or other integration tools.

• Preferred: background in edtech, media, video, or pipeline tooling.
