Web Developer, Drupal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage full-stack Drupal websites.

• Execute custom module and theme development utilizing PHP, Twig, JavaScript, and CSS/SCSS.

• Oversee configuration management and integrate third-party APIs and services.

• Ensure that performance, security, and accessibility standards are upheld across both front-end and back-end components.

• Maintain web content, including extensive product catalog pages in various languages.

• Diagnose bugs and test solutions and implementations.

• Construct MySQL queries to deliver data critical to the user experience.

• Take ownership of feature implementation.

• Transform mockups and wireframes into fully operational webpages.

• Sustain and enhance web applications, including Single Sign-On, Content Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, and proprietary applications.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.

• Develop site diagrams, project workflow diagrams, and wireframes as required.

• Employ web analytics to recommend enhancements to Hunter websites.

• Optimize website content and structure for SEO, privacy, cookie consent, and accessibility considerations.

• Safeguard Hunter’s brand image, integrity, and consistency across internal, public, and electronic platforms.

• Conduct peer reviews of feature implementations, enhancements, and bug resolutions.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Creatives, offering consultations on sustainable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in web design, graphic design, or a relevant combination of education and professional experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in website development and design.

• Advanced proficiency in HTML, jQuery, PHP, and CSS.

• Capability to hand code without the use of reference materials.

• Experience in designing and developing responsive websites.

• Proficient in writing media queries.

• Familiarity with open-source content management systems, preferably Drupal.

• Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite and other professional graphic design software.

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire web development life cycle, from design through to deployment.

• Knowledge and proven experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari.

• Experience working on a Mac platform.

• Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate coordination with other departments.

• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Familiarity with versioning systems such as Git or SVN preferred.

• Experience with design frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap preferred.

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or Angular preferred.

• Ability to create custom Drupal modules preferred.

• Capacity to responsibly leverage AI tools to enhance code delivery speed and reliability.

• Must be willing and able to work during core hours in the PST time zone.
