This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Conceptualize, create, and sustain dynamic, responsive websites that fulfill client requirements and improve user experience.

• Develop, manage, and refresh the public website, student portal, and student support pages utilizing Salesforce Experience Cloud and Digital Experiences.

• Ensure site content remains consistent with the authorized Academic Catalog and reflects updates in programs, admissions, and enrollments.

• Construct and maintain Lightning Web Components, custom pages, templates, and branding elements within Experience Cloud.

• Conduct audits, rectify issues, and document compliance with Section 508 and WCAG standards across public and student-facing pages.

• Design responsive layouts suitable for students in low-bandwidth environments.

• Set up and oversee web analytics, including Digital Analytics Program (DAP) tracking, and provide reports on site performance and user engagement.

• Assist marketing and communication initiatives through the creation of landing pages, forms, campaign email templates, and managing subscriptions.

• Develop and enhance Tier 0 self-service content, such as knowledge articles, FAQs, self-help materials, and chatbot-supported pages.

• Aid in the Education Cloud migration by updating and validating web components, forms, and portal pages against the new data model.

• Manage web content and code transitions through sandboxes to Production on a three-week release schedule, including testing and documentation.

• Collaborate with Salesforce, data, and student support teams on portal functionalities that involve student records.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Digital Media, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in designing and developing websites or web applications.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Proven experience in creating accessible web content adhering to Section 508 or WCAG 2.1 AA standards, including testing and remediation efforts.

• Familiarity with responsive design and performance optimization tailored for low-bandwidth scenarios.

• Experience utilizing a content management system or web publishing platform.

• Knowledge of web analytics implementation and reporting techniques.

• Capability to manage web content and code through a staged environment pathway to Production.

• Experience working within an Agile team using Jira or similar tools.

• A demonstrated history of automating manual processes.

• Video presence required throughout the interview process and expected during standups, sprint ceremonies, working sessions, and stakeholder meetings.

• Selected candidates may undergo a government security investigation.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Preferred: Experience in Salesforce Experience Cloud or Digital Experiences development.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Lightning Web Components or a willingness to learn quickly.

• Preferred: Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder certification.

• Preferred: Experience in higher education web roles, especially with student portals, admissions processes, or academic catalogs.

• Preferred: Proficiency in React, Angular, or Vue.

• Preferred: Knowledge of accessibility tools such as axe, WAVE, JAWS, or NVDA.

• Preferred: Experience with Digital Analytics Program (DAP), Google Analytics, or similar platforms.

• Preferred: Background in marketing automation and campaign email template creation.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Git and version-controlled deployment workflows.

• Preferred: Previous experience in federal contracts.
