Web Analyst, Tracking Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop tracking strategies for clients and design essential measures

• Oversee the server-side Google Tag Manager configuration across all projects

• Act as the main contact for colleagues concerning Google Tag Manager

• Execute server-side tracking for clients using Stape

• Proactively identify and rectify issues in tracking setups for new and existing clients

• Design tracking implementations for clients utilizing Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity

• Perform regular web analytics assessments for clients and colleagues

• Generate complex reports for external and internal Looker Studio dashboards leveraging available data sources

• Assist the Managing Director in web analytics and tracking, aiming to assume these responsibilities over time

• Further enhance the data warehouse for improved analysis capabilities

• Upgrade internal tools based on the data warehouse using AI techniques

• Deliver dependable data for clients and performance marketing managers to facilitate optimization

• Contribute to client support and foster internal team collaboration

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in web analytics, GA4, and Google Tag Manager

• Preference for candidates with a robust agency background

• Highly proactive attitude while working within a small team

• Extensive knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Microsoft Clarity

• Basic understanding of Google Ads and online marketing principles

• Eagerness and capability to implement scripts and technical solutions

• Experience with server-side tracking and other SEA-specific tools is advantageous

• Familiarity with attribution models, consent banner customization, and competitor analysis

• Customer-oriented, independent, organized, and goal-driven work style

• Strong service-oriented mindset

• Excellent data analysis and evaluation competencies

• Proficient in creating insightful dashboards and deriving data-driven insights

• Confident demeanor and composed nature

• Exceptional communication abilities

• A completed degree in business administration or a related field of study/training is a plus

• Proficiency in written and spoken German and English; German is mandatory

• Permanent residency in Germany
