Wear Solutions Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Propel the growth of Castolin Eutectic’s wear services, encompassing CDP wearplate, Castotube, LaserClad, and associated products.

• Focus on strategic accounts within the mining, power generation, paper & pulp, cement, and steel sectors.

• Collaborate with the Wear Solutions team to deliver technical and application support.

• Establish and nurture relationships with end users and OEM clients.

• Identify customer requirements that align with the service capabilities of the company.

• Craft messaging aimed at acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.

• Maintain an opportunity pipeline within the CRM system.

• Provide technical, design, and product assistance, including support for proposals and quotations.

• Work together with other regions to exchange best practices and enhance technical and commercial strategies.

• Meet sales volume, revenue targets, and gross profit margin objectives.

• Support the organization’s vision, mission, and goals related to revenue and profitability.

• Identify, communicate, and facilitate the resolution of critical business challenges.

• Represent the company at marketing events, trade shows, conferences, and training workshops.

• Keep CRM documentation current and submit weekly expense reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in wear solutions as a maintenance manager, plant manager, millwright, sales professional, or in a similar capacity within mining, power generation, paper & pulp, cement, or steel operations.

• Strong understanding of surface protection and wear management solutions.

• Comfortable engaging with maintenance, engineering, and purchasing teams within key accounts.

• Basic knowledge of the company’s key clients and their standing in the industry.

• Proficient consultative communication skills.

• Mechanical aptitude is essential.

• Familiarity with basic print reading skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

• Basic knowledge of welding, maintenance, and repair technologies is a plus.
