Wear Solutions Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Propel the growth of Castolin Eutectic’s wear services, which include CDP wearplate, Castotube, LaserClad, and related products.

• Focus on strategic accounts across the mining, power generation, paper & pulp, cement, and/or steel sectors.

• Collaborate with the Wear Solutions team to deliver technical and application support.

• Establish and nurture relationships with end users and OEMs.

• Comprehend customer requirements and provide customized solutions.

• Identify prospects and assess existing customer needs in line with the company's service offerings.

• Create messaging aimed at acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.

• Maintain an opportunity pipeline within the CRM system.

• Offer technical, design, and product support, including help with proposals and quotations.

• Work collaboratively across regions to exchange best practices and enhance technical and commercial strategies.

• Meet targets for sales volume, revenue, and gross profit margins.

• Support the organization's vision, mission, and objectives concerning revenue and profitability.

• Identify, communicate, and aid in resolving critical business challenges.

• Represent the company at marketing events, trade shows, conferences, and training workshops.

• Keep CRM documentation current and submit weekly expense reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in wear solutions, holding roles such as maintenance manager, plant manager, millwright, sales professional, or similar within mining, power generation, paper & pulp, cement, or steel operations.

• Strong understanding of surface protection and wear management solutions.

• Comfortable engaging with maintenance, engineering, and purchasing personnel within key accounts.

• Basic knowledge of key clients and their roles in the industry.

• Excellent consultative communication skills.

• Mechanical aptitude is required.

• Basic skills in reading engineering prints.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

• Basic knowledge of welding, maintenance, and repair technologies is a plus.
