Water/Wastewater Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and plan water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, and associated infrastructure.

• Conduct hydraulic simulations and perform process calculations.

• Create engineering reports and submit permit applications.

• Assist in ensuring compliance with permitting and regulatory requirements at both state and federal levels.

• Act as a representative for Atwell in meetings with clients and regulatory bodies.

• Perform site evaluations of existing facilities.

• Generate design solutions for both new and upgraded treatment infrastructure.

• Work autonomously in a remote setting while juggling multiple project deadlines.

• Travel quarterly as required by project demands, with most trips lasting between 1 and 3 days.

• Interact directly with operators, contractors, and clients on-site.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an EAC/ABET Accredited University.

• PE Licensure is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, or similar software is essential.

• Must feel comfortable working on-site and engaging directly with operators, contractors, and clients during travel for projects.
