This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to create and present Motor Control Center quotes for Strategic Water Channel Partners and MCC OEM Partners throughout the United States.
• Develop and implement quotation strategies that align competitive positioning, technical solutions, pricing, and project execution needs.
• Effectively communicate, execute, and deliver quote strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and foster business growth.
• Assist the Water Segment Business Development Leader and Account Managers in identifying, nurturing, and converting opportunities in the Water & Wastewater market.
• Analyze customer inquiries, project specifications, equipment drawings, control schematics, and application requirements.
• Create budgetary and firm-price quotations, technical proposals, submittal packages, and bid support documentation for MCC, VFD, and associated Water & Wastewater solutions.
• Align quotation strategies with Account Managers, local sales teams, channel partners, product management, and factory engineering.
• Offer technical support during customer meetings, product presentations, project reviews, and negotiations.
• Conduct application analysis and harmonic assessments.
• Provide MCC drawings, dimensions, technical documentation, and engineering support throughout the quotation and project lifecycle.
• Deliver product, application, and solution training to sales teams, channel partners, OEMs, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, municipal, and project-specific procurement regulations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, municipal bidding practices, competitive activities, and emerging technologies.
• A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• At least 3+ years of experience in sales, application engineering, technical support, or engineering of VFDs, MCCs, or similar industrial automation products.
• Proficient understanding of MCCs, VFDs, Water & Wastewater systems, industrial communication protocols, and power distribution applications.
• Proven capability to interpret technical specifications, equipment drawings, control schematics, and customer requirements.
• Experience in developing quotations, technical proposals, submittal packages, and customer-facing technical documentation.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce is highly preferred.
