Warranty Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Enter, verify, coordinate, and manage warranty claim data in a database.

• Assess warranty claims for accuracy and legitimacy.

• Address dealer inquiries concerning warranty reconciliations, terms, and basic troubleshooting for warranty component replacements or repairs.

• Respond promptly and professionally to warranty inquiries via email.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to claims.

• Adhere to established warranty policies and business practices to approve or deny claims.

• Utilize data mining and analysis to examine historical data and identify patterns that support return adequacy.

• Escalate warranty claim-related matters that require management review or input.

• Enter physical warranty claim data into the Warranty Database.

• Report directly to the US Supervisor of Warranty Service.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience and/or training in a customer service setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A bachelor’s degree is required.

• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong experience in communicating with international teams, utilizing virtual collaboration tools, and best practices for cross-time-zone communication.

• Familiarity with remote working protocols and etiquette.

• Capability to use a computer for 8.5 hours daily.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.

• Proficient in composing professional correspondence, speaking clearly, and adhering to proper phone etiquette.

• Experience with MS Office, Warranty Database, and Navision.

• Accurate and swift alphanumeric data entry skills along with 10-key pad proficiency.

• Strong attention to detail.

• A minimum broadband speed of 30 MBPS from a recognized national provider such as Jio, Tata, Airtel, or Hathway Fiber.

• A quiet, dedicated home office setup capable of accommodating two monitors and one laptop.

• Must ensure a safe and secure setup and usage of company IT assets.

• Completion of a skill assessment task may be required prior to the interview.

• Preferred: Basic math skills and proficiency in Salesforce for case handling, documentation, customer records, workflows, and case resolution.
