Warranty Accounting Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily system-to-system transactions associated with warranty recovery.

• Ensure daily alignment between the general ledger and associated systems.

• Reconcile daily transactions initiated by Ryder employees.

• Offer accounting support to field operations, corporate headquarters, and the warranty department.

• Compile and analyze data for vendor communications concerning contracts, labor rates, guidelines, coverages, aged open claims, denied claims, chargebacks, pending goodwill reviews, and commercial claims.

• Aid in maximizing warranty credits and fostering vendor relationships.

• Assist with special projects and support the department in meeting SLA commitments.

• Generate analytic reports at both vehicle and business unit levels.

• Monitor, assess, and refine internal controls of business processes.

• Provide assistance to field staff and the warranty department.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED in general high school subjects along with 2 years of occupational-specific training beyond high school, Required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles, Required.

• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Required.

• Proven analytical skills, Required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, Required.

• Capacity to establish and sustain professional relationships at all organizational levels, Required.

• Adaptability to operate independently and a self-motivated drive to succeed in a dynamic environment, Required.

• Proficient in multi-tasking, exceptionally organized, with strong time management skills, Required.

• Detail-oriented with robust follow-up practices, Required.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team, Required.

• Associate's degree in business, accounting, finance, or computer science, Preferred.

• Background in continuous process improvement, Preferred.

• Intermediate skills in data mining and analytics, Preferred.
