This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
β’ Offer confidential, non-judgmental, and supportive phone assistance to callers statewide.
β’ Adhere to the principles of Intentional Peer Support (IPS).
β’ Operate under the general supervision of the Warmline Supervisor, receiving guidance from a Shift Leader or Team Leader.
β’ Engage in continuous training, team-building activities, and meetings.
β’ Collaborate closely with Shift Leaders in an environment that necessitates improvements and adaptations.
β’ Maintain accurate data logs and enter data with precision.
β’ Professionally present data to illustrate warmline activities.
β’ Prepare reports for the Warmline Shift Leader or designated Warmline Supervisor.
β’ Provide information promptly and in a professional manner.
β’ Manage highly confidential information while complying with relevant regulations and laws.
β’ Utilize computer systems, telephones, and office automation tools to fulfill essential responsibilities.
β’ Must identify as an individual with lived experience of significant emotions and provide support to others during challenging times.
β’ Must have a certificate confirming the completion of the Core Training in Intentional Peer Support (IPS).
β’ Must register with the Oregon Health Authority Traditional Health Worker registry as a Peer Support Specialist within the first 6 months of employment at the Warmline.
β’ Must complete training role-plays and exhibit a clear understanding of the Warmline's purpose and limitations.
β’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
β’ Required participation in ongoing training and meetings as directed.
β’ Compliance with all policies and procedures is essential.
β’ Strong respect, feedback, communication, and teamwork skills are necessary.
β’ Basic understanding of cross-cultural issues, dual diagnoses/addictions, and the impact of PTSD/trauma, or a willingness to learn.
β’ Capability to manage highly confidential information while adhering to client confidentiality regulations and laws.
β’ Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with support as needed.
β’ Ability or willingness to learn and utilize Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Excel, and Publisher.
β’ Capacity to maintain both written and digital logs for data collection purposes.
β’ Proficiency in using email, conference calls, printers, fax machines, and multi-line phone systems.
β’ Must successfully complete criminal history check requirements as outlined under ORS 181.536-181.537 and OAR 410-007-0200 through 410-007-0380.
β’ Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

β’ Shift differential pay of $1 to $2.50 for working nights and weekends.
