Warehouse Startup Implementation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Carry out on-site implementation tasks, which include verifying installations, validating workflows, creating documentation, and providing operational support during the startup phase.

• Conduct startup floor activities by tracking workflows to confirm that associates adhere to standard procedures and system processes.

• Offer immediate floor assistance by helping supervisors and showcasing the correct execution of processes during the go-live phase.

• Identify and document operational challenges, including their location, frequency, and impact, in order to facilitate resolution.

• Escalate issues to the relevant teams with detailed supporting information to prompt action.

• Reinforce training by correcting behaviors and ensuring compliance with standard work practices.

• Maintain daily reports, which include logs, issue trackers, and summaries.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate issues and provide updates.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, Required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or implementation environments, Required.

• Flexibility to support any shift or schedule.

• 75–80% travel is expected as a baseline requirement.

• Willingness to accommodate responsive and short-notice travel.

• Availability for consecutive two-week on-site assignments when necessary.

• Capability to travel throughout North America (US, Canada, and Mexico).

• Timely completion of documentation, expense reporting, and data submissions.

• Associate's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Industrial Engineering, Preferred.

• Project Management experience and certification are preferred.

• Leadership experience in startup warehouse operations, along with knowledge and experience in large distribution centers, is preferred.

• Over 1 year of experience with Ryder in a warehouse operations or logistics role, Preferred.
