This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Proactively develop a pipeline among employers with 10,000 or more employees.
• Manage qualified opportunities with employers of 1,000 or more employees through Consultant Relations, marketing, partnerships, inbound interest, and various other channels.
• Lead the complete sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery to solution development, finalist presentations, contract negotiations, and closing.
• Foster relationships with benefits leaders, consultants, and brokers.
• Identify opportunities, engage key decision-makers, and expedite deal cycles.
• Establish Journey as a trusted partner by leveraging knowledge of the employer benefits landscape and Journey’s value proposition.
• Navigate RFPs, procurement, contracting, and security and legal reviews.
• Meet or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets by acquiring new-logo business.
• Maintain thorough opportunity management and accurate forecasting, including next steps, risks, stakeholders, and closing plans.
• Collaborate with Consultant Relations, marketing, customer success, infosec, legal, and product teams.
• Ensure a seamless handoff once a client is secured.
• Over 10 years of enterprise sales experience with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding new business targets.
• Proven success in generating pipeline and closing complex, high-value new business opportunities with large employers, including Fortune 500 companies or their equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of the employer benefits or healthcare ecosystem.
• Established relationships with benefits leaders, consultants, and brokers, along with the ability to forge new connections.
• Capability to lead consultative sales processes and navigate complex buying cycles, including RFPs, procurement, negotiation, contracting, and executive decision-making.
• Strong skills in opportunity management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
• Ability to work independently and resourcefully in a growing organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in articulating Journey’s value proposition to diverse stakeholders and collaborating with executives and cross-functional teams.
