This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement Motive’s global procure-to-pay strategy encompassing strategic sourcing, vendor management, purchasing operations, and ongoing process improvement.
• Lead enterprise-wide cost-saving initiatives and create value through profitability strategies, commercial models, and vendor portfolio management.
• Oversee negotiation strategies for significant, high-value vendor contracts in enterprise software, technology infrastructure, and global business services.
• Ensure P2P systems are top-tier and scalable on a global scale; create efficient, automated processes using AI and other technologies while adhering to public-company compliance standards.
• Collaborate with C-suite executives and senior leaders from Finance, Accounting, IT, Legal, Security, Workplace, and G&A.
• Develop procurement policies, risk mitigation frameworks, and internal control mechanisms.
• Define and enhance vendor onboarding processes and tool acquisition intake, review, and governance.
• Implement spend analytics, vendor performance scorecards, cycle-time tracking, and executive savings reporting.
• Build, mentor, and expand a high-performing global team across procurement operations, accounts payable, and strategic sourcing.
• Manage departmental capital allocation and support operating budget oversight.
• Provide guidance to executives on procurement risks, vendor consolidation, trade-offs, and spend optimization.
• Achieve enterprise-level savings and optimize total cost of ownership.
• Establish scalable systems and workflows to support global expansion.
• Enhance vendor selection processes, executive negotiations, and lifecycle management of vendors.
• Cultivate a data-driven culture with well-defined P2P performance metrics.
• Over 15 years of progressive executive experience in global procurement, strategic sourcing, P2P, and related operational roles.
• Demonstrated success in architecting enterprise vendor negotiations and achieving substantial, measurable savings at scale.
• Extensive experience managing software, SaaS, IT infrastructure, and complex indirect spend categories in high-growth settings.
• Proven capability in modernizing enterprise procurement technology stacks, policy frameworks, and operational models.
• History of establishing strong partnerships with C-suite and executive stakeholders to synchronize cross-functional priorities.
• Significant organizational leadership experience, with a proven track record of attracting, developing, and retaining top-tier leaders and teams.
• Exceptional executive-level communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to build strategic consensus.
• In-depth domain experience in high-growth, enterprise technology or SaaS organizations.
• Advanced expertise in collaborating with Finance and Accounting leadership on P2P implementations and enterprise ERP integrations, controls, and compliance.
• Proven experience in developing comprehensive vendor risk management, security approval workflows, and corporate governance initiatives.
• Strong executive presence combined with a hands-on, strategic problem-solving approach.
• A Master’s degree, MBA, or advanced degree in business, supply chain, or finance is preferred.
• Relevant executive certifications are advantageous.
• Applicant must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies regulated under U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
