VP Operational Excellence

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the enterprise transformation strategy for the organization.

• Spearhead large-scale transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, improving member and provider experiences, and driving organizational growth.

• Identify areas for performance enhancement, cost reduction, scalability improvement, and competitive positioning reinforcement.

• Act as the executive sponsor for high-priority enterprise initiatives.

• Direct the annual and multi-year strategic planning processes.

• Convert strategic objectives into actionable initiatives and measurable results.

• Establish systems to monitor and report on progress towards strategic goals.

• Lead enterprise capital planning and management of strategic investments.

• Create governance frameworks for strategic initiatives and capital investments.

• Supervise business cases, financial analyses, ROI assessments, and investment proposals.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive enterprise transformation roadmaps.

• Oversee portfolios of strategic initiatives and manage associated dependencies, risks, milestones, and resources.

• Direct process improvement and operational excellence initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.

• Redesign essential business processes to enhance productivity and service quality.

• Develop and implement Total Cost of Care strategies.

• Lead organizational change initiatives, engaging stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, and promoting organizational readiness.

• Present recommendations and updates on progress to senior leadership and Board committees.

• Build and lead a high-performing team focused on transformation and operational excellence.

• Mentor leaders and establish best practices in strategic planning, portfolio management, and process improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, managed care, consulting, transformation, strategy, operations, or program management.

• More than 5 years of executive or senior leadership experience managing enterprise initiatives and large-scale business transformations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Public Health, or a related field.

• Proven track record in leading strategic planning, transformation, and process improvement initiatives.

• Experience in managing enterprise portfolios and complex cross-functional projects.

• Strong financial acumen, including expertise in business case development, capital planning, and investment evaluation.

• Exceptional skills in executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership.

• Capability to perform the essential physical functions of the role, with reasonable accommodations as necessary.
