This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Deliver technical pricing assistance for local, regional, and national customer initiatives.
• Act as a subject matter expert regarding vendor agreements, pricing documentation, incentive documentation, customer master database upkeep, and contract documentation.
• Make independent decisions on intricate requests from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve complex second-tier pricing inquiries and audits.
• Diagnose pricing calculations and execute contract linkages.
• Evaluate pricing strategies and procedures.
• Compute sell prices or apply markups to reach targeted sell prices.
• Inform Sales or Market Pricing Teams when targeted sell prices are unattainable.
• Assist team leaders with training and mentorship of associates.
• Draft and uphold SOPs, reference materials, and CAMS.
• Contribute to high-profile and cross-functional projects, including acquisitions, market transfers, and revenue management requests.
• Provide cross-functional assistance to other Customer Operations pricing teams during peak periods.
• Ensure consistency in contracts and maintain the customer master database.
• Follow compliance standards and deliver precise customer service.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in vendor agreements or contract administration.
• Strong understanding of US Foods pricing rules, concepts, and procedures.
• At least 2 years of experience using MS Office, including Outlook.
• Proficient in Excel, including working with filters on large data sets, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUM, SUBTOTAL, COUNT, IF, CONCATENATE, and TEXT functions.
• Familiarity with two or more of the following: PeopleSoft, CASIS, PRISM, PRIME, MDM, Tandem, Discoverer, or Invoice Search Retrieval.
• Strong computer skills across multiple screens and applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Keen attention to detail, advanced mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Business maturity, independent thinking, and collaborative working style.
• Capacity to manage various tasks without sacrificing accuracy.
• Ability to make sound independent decisions based on thorough research.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Capability to prioritize tasks, meet critical deadlines, and maintain composure under pressure in a remote or virtual setting.
• Flexibility to work extended hours or outside standard business hours, including holidays, sometimes on short notice.
• Occasional travel may be necessary (<5%).
• Experience in creating or utilizing macros is preferred.
• Experience entering detailed data into a database system is preferred.
• Background in process or continuous improvement and waste identification is preferred.
