This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and manage Digital Science’s integrated commercial operating framework.
• Enhance revenue growth by taking ownership of business processes, ensuring data integrity, and overseeing technical systems.
• Oversee, standardize, and refine lead-to-renewal workflows, encompassing lead capture, order fulfillment, renewals, and churn prevention.
• Collaborate with the CRO and Segment leaders to convert commercial strategies into operational workflows and enablement playbooks.
• Work together on GTM strategies, product launches, and cross-functional system implementations.
• Provide daily operational support to Sales, Marketing, and Customer teams.
• Elevate the customer purchasing and renewal experience by reducing operational friction.
• Uphold standards for commercial data entry, maintain pipeline hygiene, and ensure forecasting accuracy.
• Manage product pricebooks, discount matrix governance, multi-currency tables, and product-line structures.
• Track and report on commercial KPIs such as CAC, NRR, win rates, and the length of sales cycles.
• Oversee commercial technology platforms including Salesforce, Pardot, Gong, Front, Qualtrics, and LeanData/Leadspace.
• Supervise system administration, platform architecture, technical development, user provisioning, and API integrations.
• Advocate for AI and workflow automation throughout commercial operations.
• Enhance the user experience and adoption of commercial software.
• Report directly to the SVP of Operations and collaborate with Business Operations and Data Governance & BI leadership.
• Build, mentor, and lead teams across SalesOps, MarketingOps, CustomerOps, and CRM/Systems Development.
• Promote a data-driven, customer-focused culture of continuous improvement.
• Extensive, demonstrable experience in leading Revenue Operations or similar business operations at scale, including ownership of CRM/Salesforce, sales pipeline, and GTM processes.
• Proven success in a VP Operations-type position, preferably within technology, SaaS, or a related B2B sector.
• Experience in driving automation initiatives to alleviate manual administrative tasks and streamline lead-to-renewal processes.
• Demonstrated ability to promote internal adoption of AI technologies.
• Background in business transformation and establishing new functions or operational models.
• Knowledge of Finance, Legal, HR, and Group IT functions and their interrelations with Operations.
• Familiarity with the research ecosystem and Digital Science’s offerings.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and performance/operational metrics.
• Proven competency in strategic planning and business development.
• Excellent interpersonal, persuasive, and public speaking capabilities.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, including experience presenting to executive and board-level audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree is essential.
• Relevant qualifications in Revenue Operations, CRM, or business/strategic planning are desirable.
