This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee the execution and performance of projects within the Technical Services department.
• Take ownership of technical services project management from initiation to completion.
• Strategize project execution in accordance with approved Statements of Work.
• Coordinate tasks, sequencing, dependencies, and delivery activities effectively.
• Address project challenges, risks, and blockers; implement corrective measures as necessary.
• Review and authorize Statements of Work prior to project initiation.
• Ensure clarity in scope, feasibility of delivery, and alignment of team capabilities.
• Allocate Technical Specialists based on their skills, availability, and project requirements.
• Manage team capacity, utilization, workload distribution, schedules, PTO, and coverage.
• Conduct individual meetings and lead performance accountability for Technical Specialists.
• Document feedback and observations regarding performance; mentor and implement improvement strategies.
• Make decisions regarding role suitability, reassignment, or termination when performance expectations are unmet.
• Ensure that delivery work adheres to quality and technical standards.
• Assign and supervise QA/QC activities.
• Investigate delivery challenges and conduct root cause analysis.
• Assist in onboarding, training, coaching, hiring, and team development.
• Collaborate with the Director on staffing strategies, delivery readiness, and reporting.
• Provide insights into project status, risks, and resource requirements.
• Escalate systemic issues impacting delivery, quality, or team performance.
• Proven experience in managing technical or professional services projects.
• Demonstrated capability in leading teams and overseeing performance.
• Ability to conduct challenging performance discussions and take decisive actions.
• Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving complex delivery challenges.
• Experience in resource planning, utilization management, and team coordination.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Background in the AEC industry or related technology-focused sectors.
• Familiarity with Autodesk solutions such as Revit, ACC, BIM 360, or AutoCAD.
• Commitment to a minimum of 40 hours per week, with additional hours as required to meet deadlines.
• Capability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Willingness to travel between office locations, including those with stairs.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Adequate visual and auditory capabilities, with or without assistance.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
