VP of Product Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and establish Midnite's creative vision along with its long-term design trajectory.

• Set benchmarks for visual and interaction design across various products.

• Define the comprehensive customer experience across native applications, web platforms, and internal tools.

• Collaborate with executive leadership, Product, and Engineering teams to shape strategy and product decisions.

• Provide creative leadership on ambitious, impactful projects from conception through to execution.

• Lead, motivate, and develop the Product Design team.

• Propel the advancement of design systems and principles.

• Work alongside Brand, Creative, Growth, CRM, and Games to ensure a cohesive customer journey.

• Advocate for emerging technologies, including AI, in both design and product development.

• Influence design practices, talent investment, and product experience standards as Midnite expands.

• Demonstrated experience in shaping creative vision and product experiences at a senior or executive level.

• Exceptional design sensibility and strong creative instincts.

• A portfolio showcasing outstanding visual and interaction design.

• Proven experience directing design across intricate, multi-platform products, preferably within fast-paced, consumer-oriented technology sectors.

• Strong commercial acumen and product insight.

• History of influencing product strategy and enacting significant change through design.

• Passion for design craftsmanship with the ability to challenge, inspire, and elevate work.

• Experience in building and nurturing high-performing design teams.

• Strong creative direction with the capability to navigate complex design challenges.

• Experience in developing design systems, principles, and practices at scale.

• Confident communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Curiosity towards emerging technologies, including AI.

• Ability to excel in a high-growth environment.

• Must be based in the UK.
