Senior UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct user research through methods such as contextual inquiries, interviews, focus groups, surveys, and usability testing.

• Analyze both qualitative and quantitative user data to uncover insights that guide design decisions.

• Effectively identify and resolve design challenges.

• Convert user requirements and client/stakeholder objectives into actionable design strategies and deliverables.

• Create layouts for content, navigation systems, and user flows for websites and applications.

• Develop both low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes to refine design solutions.

• Establish and apply visual styles and design standards.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure usability and accessibility, adhering to Section 508 and WCAG standards.

• Document design processes and produce wireframes, mockups, and style guides.

• Conduct design reviews and offer feedback to maintain quality and consistency in design outputs.

• Utilize Agile methodologies in UX design and iterate based on received feedback.

• Partner with stakeholders, developers, and designers to grasp complex issues and collaborate on effective solutions.

• Implement UX methodologies to create intuitive and impactful digital solutions that align with user needs and business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in UX/UI design.

• A robust design portfolio demonstrating UX case studies and design work.

• Proficient in UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, Sketch, or Balsamiq.

• Experience in creating wireframes, mockups, and interaction models.

• Strong analytical skills coupled with problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

• Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies in software development.
