VP of Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide active operational leadership throughout the platform, which includes overseeing acquisition integration, enhancing decision-making processes, and optimizing systems.

• Collaborate with business owners to facilitate daily operations and initiatives aimed at scaling the platform.

• Assist in defining and implementing a unified integration and operational playbook across the platform.

• Tackle organizational, operational, and systems-related challenges effectively.

• Aid in the assessment, selection, and implementation of essential business systems, including ERP and other operational platforms.

• Introduce structure and clarity to processes, reporting, and performance management while preserving autonomy at the company level.

• Serve as a reliable thought partner to senior leadership at Heritage on strategy, systems, and operational decisions.

• Drive the growth of a business from approximately $2 million EBITDA to $20 million EBITDA within a timeframe of 1–2 years.

• Have the potential to transition into executive, investing, or search-fund entrepreneur roles within the Heritage Holding’s ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• MBA (recent graduate or several years post-MBA) from a prestigious program.

• Direct experience in blue-collar or service industries—such as home services, trades, construction, field services, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution—is highly preferred; candidates with experience in operating, advising, or growing businesses in these sectors will be prioritized.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent emotional intelligence, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and the dynamics of fast-paced environments.

• Proven track record of leading projects from concept to execution.

• Proficient in financial modeling, Excel, and data analysis.

• An entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for small business.

• High integrity and a low-ego, team-oriented attitude.
