This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Address the banking requirements of small enterprises and foster new connections within the local business community.
• Develop a business portfolio and meet an annual lending target of $10 million.
• Concentrate on owner-occupied commercial real estate, owner-operated businesses, and other SBA-eligible 7A loans.
• Engage in sales and outreach through lead lists, internal and external referrals, centers of influence (COIs), cold calling, and various business-development activities.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and collaborate with Product partners to deliver a comprehensive banking solution.
• Participate in joint calling and prospecting alongside Product partners.
• Create a focused list of centers of influence and a relationship-building strategy to generate referral business.
• Enhance the individual and Customers Bank market presence within the local community.
• Utilize available resources and tools to manage calls, relationships, sales processes, and activities efficiently.
• Achieve target numbers of face-to-face meetings with prospects, customers, COIs, and internal partners.
• Oversee and nurture a customer portfolio by strengthening existing relationships.
• Generate new lending and deposit business.
• Employ Salesforce and banking technology tools to adhere to processes and monitor productivity.
• Maintain weekly and necessary pipeline reports.
• Enter credit applications and packages into Salesforce.
• Must possess legal eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship, both currently and in the future.
• Over 5 years of experience in SBA 7a loan production.
• Established connections with referral partners (COIs/Brokers).
• Strong comprehension of credit underwriting principles.
• Exceptional business development capabilities.
• General knowledge of SBA credit underwriting.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-tech, and mobile environment.
• Aptitude for working collaboratively in a team setting.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards related to lending.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Personable and outgoing demeanor.
