VP Global Demand & Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the bookings forecast on a regular basis, initially on a weekly schedule, covering the upcoming months to a quarter.

• Convert forecasts into detailed expected-unit perspectives by platform, drone/vessel type, and configuration.

• Keep forecasts up-to-date as deals evolve, get delayed, or change in scope.

• Collaborate with Sales to rigorously evaluate the pipeline.

• Coordinate with Finance and leadership to establish a unified forecast.

• Assess demand against the available capacity at each location.

• Identify anticipated orders in advance and decide on the optimal production location.

• Work alongside site teams to plan for materials, labor, and schedules prior to the arrival of purchase orders.

• Spot capacity gaps and bottlenecks across the network.

• Suggest reallocating work between sites and provide insights for future capacity expansion as the US footprint enlarges.

• Develop the S&OP process, incorporating forecast and capacity review schedules, planning tools, dashboards, and performance metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in demand planning, S&OP, or production planning within a hardware or manufacturing environment.

• Ideally, experience in a rapidly scaling company across multiple locations.

• Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting models.

• Capability to turn uncertain forecasts into clear, timely decisions.

• Strong communication skills across functions and time zones.

• Ability to establish a process from the ground up.

• Experience in fast-growing sectors such as automotive, aerospace, defense, robotics, or similar is highly advantageous.

• Willingness to travel between company sites.
