VP Finance – Maternity Leave Cover

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor the finance team, enhancing performance in alignment with KPIs

• Take ownership of the group management accounts process and foster ongoing improvements in reporting

• Spearhead statutory accounts, external audits, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions

• Supervise Group cash flow, treasury functions, banking partnerships, and lender reporting, including covenants

• Oversee corporation tax, VAT, and R&D claims for the entire Group

• Promote optimization of financial systems, notably Sage Intacct

• Act as a prominent voice in senior management, influencing reporting, controls, and business expansion

⛳️ Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or a comparable qualification

• Extensive technical accounting and financial reporting expertise

• Proven experience leading a finance function within a multi-entity or international organization

• Background in managing external audits and statutory reporting

• Proficiency in overseeing financial controls, maintaining balance sheet integrity, and executing month-end close

• Advanced skills in Excel and financial systems

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, debt facilities/lender reporting, or covenant management is a plus
