Volunteer Chief Financial Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Overall accountability for the financial framework of the organization, encompassing the planning, management, and supervision of all financial resources.

• Create and enhance a solid financial infrastructure that supports sustainable growth.

• Manage budgeting, liquidity, and fund allocation in line with nonprofit standards.

• Formulate and execute strategies to draw in supporting members and financial backers.

• Engage actively in fundraising through direct outreach, structuring offers, and providing assistance throughout the closing stages.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with donors, partners, and institutional funders.

• Ensure transparent financial practices and accurate bookkeeping in compliance with tax regulations.

• Collaborate closely with the leadership team on comprehensive financial management and prioritization of initiatives.

• Organized, independent working style with a high level of reliability.

• Strong numerical proficiency, financial planning skills, and understanding of business interconnections.
