VP, Corporate Banking Relationship Officer – Deposits

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee a portfolio of Corporate Banking clients, with an emphasis on acquiring, retaining, and enhancing deposit relationships.

• Assess client requirements and create deposit and banking solutions tailored to their needs.

• Forge new client relationships via business development, networking, community activities, and opportunities for relationship building.

• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and referrals, including potential commercial lending prospects.

• Collaborate with internal business partners to link clients with suitable Bank products and services.

• Offer financial guidance tailored to clients’ business requirements.

• Sustain strong client connections through continuous communication and high-quality service.

• Monitor deposit activities and client relationships to detect changes, risks, and growth opportunities.

• Stay informed of industry trends, competitive activities, deposit products, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide pertinent insights to clients and management.

• Contribute market and competitive insights to bolster Corporate Banking deposit growth initiatives.

• Carry out routine office tasks, including typing, reading, computer work, filing, copying, and phone communications.

• Travel regularly to client sites, Bank locations, and industry/community events.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.

• A Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related discipline is preferred.

• At least 6 years of sales or relationship management experience in financial services is required.

• Experience in generating deposit relationships with small to mid-sized businesses is preferred.

• Familiarity with deposit pricing and liquidity management is preferred.

• Working knowledge of treasury management solutions is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.

• Capability to build and sustain effective internal and external relationships.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Candidates must reside in the Northeast/MidAtlantic region: NJ, NY, PA, DE, CT.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
